Overview
The Model E offers presence and durability with its 20 inch frame height, nickel-plated chain, and double powder coat with glossy finish. From a practical standpoint, the higher frame means easier on-and-off for those with tired knees or mobility considerations. The nickel-plated chain (also featured on the Model D) requires less-frequent oiling. The finish protects against scratches.
Aesthetically, the Model E is the luxury machine of the indoor rower world. Solid and sleek in light gray or black, the Model E will hold its own in a fitness center, your home gym, or the living area of your midtown loft. Flywheel and DamperOur indoor rowers respond to your effort on every stroke, so you are in full control of your exertion and resistance at all times. The spiral damper allows you to quickly adjust the airflow to the flywheel, so you can change the feel of the stroke to suit your preference. Storage and MobilityThe Model E features a quick-release (no tools required!) framelock mechanism, so you can easily separate the machine into two pieces for storage. Caster wheels on the front foot allow you to roll the fully-assembled machine into position. |
Seat HeightThe Model E stands tall in a crowd. You’ll have the comfort and ease of getting on a machine that’s at chair height. The 20 inch (50.8 centimeter) seat height is particularly helpful if your knees don’t bend like they used to, if you’ll be getting on and off the indoor rower from a wheelchair, or if you just prefer sitting higher off the ground. So far so good! I spent the last year walking and doing HIIT on a stair climber. I’ve seen good progress and wanted to include my upper body so a rowerg seemed like an obvious choice. Rogue was great, shipping went smoothly, price was perfectly fair, and it’s really nice having a brand new top of the line rower at home where I can use it whenever I want instead of planning my day around going to the gym with my fingers crossed hoping it is available.

I’m not exactly sure what I expected as far as assembly was concerned. Literally easiest possible setup imaginable. I was set up to row in less than 2 minutes. I have used the concept 2 before at a gym and love it. This one connected to my Garmin watch and I was rowing in less than 5 minutes. It’s a great full body workout!

I’ve been eyeing this rower for a year or so. I’ve used them plenty of times over the years in gyms just to switch up my cardio routine but a recent joint injury required a low impact solution.
I’ve only had it a week and put 24000 meters on it and it performs as expected. It came with a two and five year warranty and US made. It shipped from OH to TX UPS ground in 4 days. I suspect it will outlast my desire to row. Glad I finally pulled the trigger.

I love this rowing machine and enjoyed rowing 3 days this week before strength training. I was going to wait to purchase this until fall when we’re in a new home. So I don’t really have enough room but it stands up easily in my office. I need to figure out the display better and am using Just Row after not finding a workout I had entered. As a first time rower, I wasn’t sure what to expect when purchasing. I’ve always heard great things about Concept 2 and debated between this and the Peloton Row. I’m glad I chose this one. It works great. The assembly was super easy and I started my first row within 20 minutes. It slides smoothly and the fan is not too loud. It’s very well constructed and sturdy. The monitor works great and connects seamlessly to my HR monitor and to the Peloton app. I’ve been using it a couple of weeks now, and I’m already about a minute faster per 500m than my very first row. Great cardio workout!

I am a 72 year old female. After using a rowing machine at the gym for a couple months, I decided to purchase one for my home, and I got the Concept2. It came packaged so nicely, and I was able to put it together myself in about 20 minutes. The first day I played around and rowed for 10 minutes 5 separate times. On day 2, I rowed a 20 minute session and two 10 minute sessions. On day 3, I started three 20 minute sessions. I worked on perfecting my form. Now I am rowing over 5 miles a day consistently. I no longer feel guilt watching football on the sofa all weekend because I get up three different times and row for 20 minutes. It is great having my own machine. If you are older and wondering if you should get this machine, go for it … you will not be sorry. It is a great machine!

Easy to assemble (only eight screws). I was rowing in 5 minutes after I opened the box. Rower is smooth and intuitive to use. Readout, menu, and workouts are easy to navigate. Highly recommend.
